Welcome to the Sugata Kadampa Buddhist Centre in Coventry. We are a branch of the Nagarjuna Kadampa Buddhist Centre which is near Kelmarsh in Northamptonshire. The Nagajuna Kadampa Buddhist Centre is part of the New Kadampa Tradition (NKT). The NKT is an international non-profit making organisation and was founded by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

The Sugata Kadampa Buddhsit Centre already exists in name, here on the web and by local people attending weekly drop-in meditation classes, a foundation study programme and day courses bringing pure Buddhist Teachings to you.
People are now wanting a residential centre to learn more about Buddhism, and put into practice this ancient wisdom. A Kadampa Buddhist Meditation Centre in Coventry would also provide:
* A special place of peace and refuge
* A perfect opportunity to deepen your inner peace
* A sanctury to relax, refresh and energise
Kadampa Buddhism in Coventry to serve the whole community...please create the wish for this to become a reality.
How can we make this happen?
* Volunteer your time - many skills are needed
* Become a resident when we have a Centre
* Make a donation or loan
* Link to this website
* Help distribute publicity
Please talk to the Coventry teacher Gill Hall at a drop-in meditation class. Alternatively e-mail us at unwind@meditateincoventry.org or telephone us on 01604 686778 for more information.
